Bauble Printing
Today in the baby room, we drew a big Christmas tree on a clear plastic sheet and placed it on the floor inviting the babies to explore it. We set up some recycled circle shaped sponges with a tray of different coloured paints, the babies really enjoyed exploring the colours and textures as they pressed the sponges onto the tree to make bauble prints. The babies tapped gently onto the plastic making circle shapes on the tree, they were very interested in feeling the paint before putting it onto the sheet. Everyone got involved in their own way. By the end, the tree was covered in bright, messy, cheerful spots, and the babies were very proud of their creation.
