The babies have continued to explore their favourite texture books ‘that’s not my….’ So this week we looked at ‘that’s not my dragon’ we added some sugar free jelly and castes for the perfect mythical dragon habitat. The babies explored the texture of the Jelly whilst we promoted key words such as ‘wet’ and ‘sticky’ The dragons stomped in the jelly and made a huge mess. We read the story and explored the different textures within the book. To extend this we created a further link to communication and language by introducing another book all about dragons who loved to eat Jelly. And judging by their keen interest in tasting the jelly the babies love to eat jelly too.
