Easter Sensory Tray

The babies in the baby room had a lovely time exploring a special Easter-themed tray. The tray was filled with green tissue paper, creating a bright and inviting sensory experience. Hidden underneath the tissue paper were eggs, which encouraged the babies to use their curiosity and developing motor skills to search and discover what was beneath. They enjoyed lifting, scrunching, and moving the tissue paper, showing excitement each time they found an egg.
This activity supported their sensory exploration as they experienced different textures and practiced hand-eye coordination. The element of surprise helped to keep them engaged and focused as they investigated the tray.
After their exploration, the babies gathered together for a calm and cozy story time, where they listened to an Easter-themed story. They enjoyed looking at the pictures, listening to the rhythm of the words, and sharing the experience together. It was a wonderful way to combine sensory play with early language development in a fun and meaningful Easter activity.
