This week in preschool, the children completed an art activity called "Faces of Inspiration." The preschoolers painted portraits of the people and animals who inspire them—using simple paper plates as their canvas. With brushes in hand and paint on their fingers, they brought to life the faces of parents, grandparents, teachers, superheroes, and other beloved figures. As they painted, children shared touching stories. This creative project went beyond art, encouraging emotional expression, building empathy, and helping children reflect on the values they admire most. The preschoolers really enjoyed and got into the activity, taking about all the people in their lives. Painting faces filled with colourful faces and thoughtful captions that celebrated love, strength, kindness, and imagination. Through this simple activity, preschoolers not only explored their creativity but also deepened their understanding of the people who shape their world. Well done Preschool!
