This week, the babies enjoyed an autumn stroll as we ventured out to explore the changing season. Along the way, we gathered natural treasures like conkers, pieces of tree bark, and a beautiful variety of colourful autumn leaves.
Back at nursery, we added pine cones and some soft, artificial leaves to create a rich, sensory tray for the babies to explore. With close supervision, the children were encouraged to touch, hold, and investigate the different textures helping to support their sensory development and natural curiosity.
