Jacks Cafe

Jacks Cafe

This week preschool visited our local cafe “Jacks cafe”, the children thoroughly enjoyed sitting down around the tables and discussing what we thought may be on the menu, the jam and butter came out and most of us guessed TOAST! The toast was given to us and we had the choice of having it with or without Jam. The children had pleasant conversations during this visit talking about other cafes they have visited and what they usually get, many saying they go and get “baby cino’s” with their mums and dads. After thoroughly enjoying their snack of toast (and jam) they were offered warm frothy milk in take away cups which they thought was amazing! “This is so warm to drink on such a windy day” and “mmm this is warming me all the way up” were some amongst many comments made. We said thank you to the owner and headed back to nursery where we all coloured in a picture and made a card to say thank you for our wonderful experience. The children used excellent mark making skills to write out the card and draw their pictures. When the card was all done some of us asked if we could go deliver it back today! So we quickly popped back to give our thank you card! The owner was very happy and we said thank you again in person.

Preschool you showed amazing behaviour and listening during the whole cafe visit, you had excellent table manners hygiene and was very polite and grateful. As always we couldn’t be prouder, well done!
