Kerplunk!

This week in preschool we made our own version of the game “kerplunk”, we got a plastic material with wholes and used the stapler and cello tape to stick them together and stack them up. Following this step we used plastic sticks to thread through the holes to lay the foundation of the game, making sure we closed as much of the spaces as possible once this step was done we added plastic ball pit balls to the top being careful not to tip any of them over. We then took the sticks out one by one taking turns and carefully making sure we tried not to disturb the balls, as more sticks came out the balls started making their way towards the bottom of the constructive piece. The children’s excitement built as the anticipation did. The children displayed amazing turn taking and patience throughout this activity and was guiding each other on what moves to take next. “Don’t do that one, they’ll all fall” said one child, whilst another one said “that’s a great move!”. Fantastic teamwork was being displayed and the children enjoyed the cause and effect motion of the game! Well done preschool this was amazing to watch!
