Measuring Distance
This week in pre school we have been testing ideas with distance. First we voted on whether we thought the long or short ramps would go a further distance with a bigger or smaller car. We then put a series of paper on the floor and marked out on a metre stick in 10cm intervals. We then used different resources to create a series of different ramps with different heights and lengths to see what ramp would make what size car go the furthest. The children loved exploring the different heights and measurements with the different size cars.
Preschool loved exploring their ideas and testing their theories.
