Our Boat Modelling
The children eagerly transformed a simple cardboard box into a pretend boat, sparking their creativity and teamwork. To start, we painted the boxes together and left them to dry, giving them a bright and colourful “boat” appearance. Once ready, we extended their role play by laying blue material on the floor to represent water and placing the boxes on top. Armed with brooms as paddles, the children climbed into their boats, imagining adventures on the high seas, steering, rowing, and creating their own imaginative scenarios. They laughed and collaborated, using the props to act out stories, explore roles, and bring their ideas to life in a playful and engaging way.
