Our Visit to the Mosque During Ramadan

Our Visit to the Mosque During Ramadan

This week the children had a wonderful opportunity to visit a local mosque and learn about Ramadan and the traditions associated with this special time of year.

During our visit, the children were warmly welcomed and had the chance to explore the mosque while learning about its importance to the Muslim community. They discovered that Ramadan is a special month when many Muslims fast during the day, spend time reflecting, praying, and helping others.

The children learned about some of the traditions that take place during Ramadan, including prayer, kindness, charity, and gathering with family and friends to break the fast in the evening. They also had the opportunity to observe the beautiful features inside the mosque and learn about how it is used as a place of worship and community.

The visit helped the children develop a greater understanding of different cultures and religions, encouraging curiosity, respect, and appreciation for the diverse communities around us.

It was a fantastic learning experience, and the children asked lots of thoughtful questions throughout the visit!
