Owl adventures came to visit our nursery and brought some very special animals with him. He had three owls and one hawk, and everyone was very excited to see them. He told us about each bird and explained how to stay calm and quiet so we wouldn’t scare them. We watched in amazement as the owls and the hawk flew across the room, spreading their wings wide and landing carefully.
We were given the opportunity to hold the little owl, one at a time, and we learned how to do this gently and safely. It was very exciting to be so close to the owl!
The man shared lots of interesting facts with us, such as what the birds eat, where they live, and how they hunt in the wild. We also got to watch them eat their food, which helped us understand more about their natural behaviour.
The visit was a wonderful learning experience and gave us the chance to learn more about birds of prey in a fun and memorable way. Everyone enjoyed the experience and talked about it long after it was over.
