Owl Babies
Following our visit from the birds on Tuesday, which the babies thoroughly enjoyed watching, we created an owl themed tuff tray for the babies to explore. We used broken up Weetabix, ground coffee and oats to provide a variety of textures, along with fake flowers and grass to create a small forest environment for the owls.
The owl babies were placed around the tray, and the babies quickly became engaged, using their hands to explore the different textures and interacting with the owls and feeding the owls food. They showed care and affection by cuddling the owl babies and enjoyed playing alongside them. The babies were fully engaged throughout the activity and clearly enjoyed the sensory experience.
