This week, our toddlers had a fantastic time making their own playdough pizzas! They started by rolling out their âpizza basesâ using rolling pins, building on their physical development through fine motor skills and coordination.
Next came the âtomato sauce,â which the children carefully spread across their dough. They then sprinkled on some âcheeseâ using rice â a great opportunity for practicing control and precision.
To finish, the toddlers explored the smell of fresh basil before choosing some leaves to add to their pizzas. This sensory experience helped develop their understanding of the world and encouraged curiosity
