Preschoolers at work!
This week in preschool, we created two exciting new role-play areas, an office space and a bustling coffee shop and the children fully embraced every moment of imaginative play. In the office area, our young learners transformed into confident travel agents. They booked holidays for their friends, proudly showing them different destinations and jotting down travel plans. With mugs in hand and fingers tapping away on their keyboards, they slipped naturally into their roles discussing locations, offering advice, and working hard at their desks. It was wonderful to see their communication skills, confidence, and creativity shine through as they navigated their busy workday. Just across the room, our lively coffee shop was just as popular. The children busied themselves taking orders for coffees and treats, preparing food, and delivering plates to friends waiting patiently at their tables. They took on responsibilities, and used rich language as they served customers with big smiles. Both play areas encouraged collaboration, imagination, and meaningful social interaction. The preschoolers absolutely loved stepping into these real world scenarios, and it was a joy to watch their creativity come alive. We can’t wait to see where their imaginations take them next! Well done Preschool!
