Sensory Bags

In baby room this week we wanted to give the babies a risk and mess free sensory experience so we placed a variety of different materials in zip lock bags creating our own sensory pouches. We used jelly, foam, cooked spaghetti and yoghurt and the babies were able to explore the textures of the materials by squashing and squeezing the pouches. This enabled the babies who are not yet weaning to play with food textures in a Safe way. This also gave us a great opportunity to practice a little bit of tummy time with the less mobile babies
