Sensory Fun
This week, we continued our exploration of colour, but decided to take it a step further by incorporating sensory resources. The babies had the chance to explore a variety of textures through messy play, including blue oats, blue cornflour, blue playdough, and blue foam. For many of the babies, this was a brand-new experience, as it was their first time engaging with messy play.
Some babies were eager to dive right in, while others preferred to observe at first. But eventually, all of the babies became involved and began exploring the different textures. Some gravitated towards the wetter materials, while others seemed to prefer the dry textures. It was wonderful to see each baby making their own choices and finding joy in the sensory experience.
