The children engaged in an exciting and hands-on sensory table activity centered around the theme of "Save the Animals." The toddlers used a small net and a variety of animal figurines. They explored the sensory setup, enhancing their fine motor skills and curiosity about the animal world.The toddlers especially enjoyed using toy hammers as they chipped away at the ice blocks to rescue the trapped animals.
This was a fun and stimulating way to support problem-solving and gross motor development. To extend their learning, the group also listened to a story about different animals, sparking conversations about animals.
