Shape Matching & Sorting Fun!
This week, toddlers engaged in an exciting activity focused on shape recognition and matching. Large shapes were outlined on the floor, and children worked together to match and sort smaller shapes to their corresponding large shapes. Once matched, they went on a fun shape hunt—finding various objects around the room that matched those same shapes and placing them inside the large outlines. This activity supported their spatial awareness, problem-solving skills, and shape identification in a playful, interactive way!
