Snow People

This week, Preschool enjoyed making sock snow people!
We began by filling the socks with rice using a scoop, helping to develop the children’s physical and fine motor skills. Once filled, we tied off the socks and used elastic bands to separate the snow people into sections.
The children then chose their own buttons and googly eyes, confidently sharing their preferences such as “I want big eyes” or “I want the green buttons.”
As we needed to use a hot glue gun, we talked together about safety and potential risks. With adult support, the children helped to squeeze the glue onto their buttons and googly eyes.
To finish, the children drew smiley faces on their snow people, completing their creations. Well done, Preschool! They all looked amazing! ❄️☃️
