Stomp stomp stomping
This week we decided to combine one of our children’s interests, animals, with a fun mark-making experience. We set up a shallow tray with paper, paint, and a selection of animal figures, encouraging the babies to create animal footprints. The babies were very engaged, happily stomping, moving the animals, and smearing the paint across the paper. Some of the babies enjoyed the experience so much that they wanted to explore further by touching and feeling the texture of the paint with their hands. It was a lovely sensory activity that encouraged curiosity, exploration, and creativity throughout.
