The Marks We Make
Baby room have been continuing to explore different materials and the marks we can make on them. This week we used some shiny tin foil and bumpy bubble wrap. We used key words to describe the textures such as smooth and bumpy and spoke with the children about the different colours they were using to paint and the effects it had on the materials we were using. We decided to use the easel so that the children could experience painting at a different angle and to also promote standing in the children who wished to explore and paint at a higher level.
