World Book Day (3)
On Thursday, our nursery children had a fantastic time celebrating World Book Day. The children arrived dressed as their favourite book characters and were excited to share their costumes and favourite stories with their friends.
Throughout the day, we enjoyed listening to stories, talking about our favourite characters, and joining in with repeated phrases. The children also explored a variety of story-themed activities, including drawing their favourite characters, looking at books in our reading area, and acting out parts of stories using props and costumes.
These activities helped to support the children’s early literacy, communication, creativity and imagination. It was a wonderful day filled with stories, laughter and learning!
