World Lion Day
This week, we celebrated World Lion Day across the nursery with lots of fun, creative, and educational activities! Our babies explored small world lions and had a great time making colourful marks and footprints with them in paint—an exciting sensory experience! In the toddler room, the children got crafty creating their own lion manes. Using forks to print around a circle, they worked together to build beautiful, textured manes before adding their own lion faces. Meanwhile, the pre-schoolers went on a fact-finding mission! They learned all about lions their habitats, diets, and behaviours and put together their very own lion fact file.
It’s been a fantastic week of learning and play as we discovered more about these amazing animals!
