The Ladybirds have been busy celebrating Chinese new Year this week! They had lots of fun exploring Chinese-inspired home and restaurant by using different bowls, chopsticks and even real rice noodles. The children were really interested in the noodles and enjoyed having a go at picking them up with the chopsticks. There was lots of pretending to cook, serve food and a little bit of tasting the rice noodles. The ladybirds really concentrated as they practiced using some smaller child friendly chopsticks and challenged themselves by using adult chopsticks also. We did lots of picking up and seeing how long some of the noodles where as we lifted them up into the air. Well done Ladybirds!
