The children in Grasshopper's have started the Autumn season this week by exploring the local community in search of some natural objects. To their delight, the children found numerous conkers! The children collected some conkers to take back to nursery to explore. Armed with hammers, the children carefully tapped the shells and used the back of the hammers to pry them open, revealing the conkers inside. They were excited to see the different shapes of the conkers: some were round, others flat, and a few even contained two conkers within their shells!
