Dinosaur Salt Dough Dig

This week, the Grasshoppers have been showing lots of interest in dinosaurs! To support their curiosity, they collaborated with their teachers to create resources for a dinosaur dig activity. They started by making salt dough fossils, which involved pressing shapes into the dough. After the dough was cooked, they hid the fossils in the sand and began their dinosaur excavation! The Grasshoppers enjoyed uncovering various fossils, using magnifying glasses and paintbrushes to explore and investigate their finds. Additionally, they had fun using the laptop to research the types of dinosaur fossils they thought they had discovered in the sand. This hands-on experience has truly enhanced their learning and engagement.
