The Ladybirds went to the forest to take part in their own firework painting.

The looked at fireworks in the sky and the bright colours they create.

Then they used a range of paint brushes to make marks on a large scale.

The children gave meaning to marks they made on the sheet.

Paint brush grasp was practised as children grasped it with a palmer and tripod grasp.

Everyone used hand eye co-ordination to connect the brush with the paper.

Gross motor skills were used to make various marks.

The children created a lovely large scale piece of art work.
