The Grasshoppers had an exciting adventure as they engaged in some risky play with ice and dinosaurs! Transforming into palaeontologists, they donned hard hats and high-visibility jackets before diving into the task of excavating frozen dinosaurs using a variety of real tools. They did an amazing job listening to instructions, learning how to use the tools safely while following all safety procedures. The children took turns, kept clear of each other’s tools, and reminded one another to stay safe throughout the activity. By working together to solve the challenge, the children gained confidence, developed problem-solving skills, and reinforced their understanding of safety—all while having a thrilling, dynamic learning experience.
