The children in Grasshoppers have enjoyed exploring the culinary world of Japan with a fun onigiri-making activity! The children carefully filled their rice-ball moulds with Japanese rice, and some chose to add tuna as a tasty filling. They then pressed the moulds to create the signature triangular onigiri shape. After all their hard work, the children happily tasted their homemade onigiri with tea, alongside a delicious udon stir-fry. It was a wonderful hands-on experience that invited them to discover new flavours and practise their fine-motor skills.
