Still Life Art

The grasshoppers had a lovely walk to the local duck pond. They enjoyed their morning snack while admiring Knight Pond, where they were visited by some feathered friends— the ducks! After snack time, the children took part in a still life activity inspired by the forest and pond. Armed with magnifying glasses, clipboards, cards, and pencils, they sketched what they observed around them. Some captured the surrounding trees, while others illustrated the ducks swimming towards us, expressing their creativity through mark-making.
