In this week’s drama session, our stars used their wonderful imaginations to explore life in a busy bee kingdom! Guided by our specialist drama teacher, the children took on different roles within the hive. Some became worker bees, flying around to collect nectar, while others were the queen and king bees, giving helpful instructions to their bee family.
The children worked together to gather nectar and bring it safely back to the hive, using movement, teamwork and lots of creative thinking. They truly embraced their roles and had so much fun buzzing around the room!
Drama sessions like this take place every week and provide many benefits for our children. Through imaginative play and storytelling, the children develop their confidence, communication skills and creativity. Role-playing also encourages teamwork, listening and problem-solving, while helping the children express their ideas and emotions in a safe and engaging way.
It was lovely to see how much the children enjoyed themselves during this activity. We are already looking forward to next week’s drama adventure!
