As it was such a beautiful day, we chose to have a Bongalong in the garden. Today, we thoroughly enjoyed playing the fast and slow song, experimenting with the chime bars, and making music with our instruments.
Music sessions like this support children’s language and communication skills through singing and listening, while also encouraging social interaction, turn-taking, and cooperation. As we moved and played instruments, we developed our coordination and motor skills, while exploring rhythm and tempo supported early mathematical understanding. Bongalong also allows children to express themselves creatively, building confidence and fostering a love for music in a fun and engaging way.
