Over the past couple of weeks, the Stars have been exploring the festival of Diwali. We’ve listened to stories and looked at pictures of how families around the world celebrate this special festival of lights. One of our favourite stories was about Rama and Sita. The children loved hearing how the people lit rows of lamps to welcome them home, celebrating the victory of light over darkness and good over evil.

We also got creative! The Stars made and painted their own diva lamps, and we were amazed by the beautiful henna designs we saw. The children even tried designing some of their own patterns—it was such a fun and colourful way to celebrate Diwali together!
