Today, we had an incredibly fun experience as we made our very own chocolate bananas. We began by opening and slicing the bananas, preparing them to be filled with chocolate buttons. After that, we wrapped the bananas in tinfoil, getting them ready to cook over the fire.

Beth built a fire for us to use, and before we started cooking, we discussed fire safety and the steps to take when we are near open flames. One by one, we placed our wrapped bananas onto the fire, sharing our thoughts on what might happen to the chocolate buttons inside. After a little while, we retrieved them and excitedly prepared to enjoy our snack. The melted chocolate and bananas were absolutely delicious!
