Today, the children enjoyed a fantastic session focusing on counting. We began with some fun number songs, which had everyone dancing and joining in with the actions.

Next, we embarked on a journey to assist Digit the rabbit, using dice to explore numbers. The children rolled the dice, counted the numbers on each one, and practised adding and subtracting with two dice. They took turns rolling, counting the numbers, and combining them.

To make it exciting, the children used different methods to count, such as clapping, waving, and tapping their knees. Throughout the activity, they were encouraged to use mathematical terms like more, less, add, and subtract.
