Creating Sail Boats

This week, the horses made their own little sailing boats using cardboard rolls, paper and cotton buds. They started by decorating the sails which were then folded in half and stuck to a cotton bud. They then carefully used a hot glue gun to attach the sail to half a cardboard roll to make a sailing boat! We then all worked as a team using wooden blocks, tin foil and the hose to make a long river. The horses then took it in turns to send their sailing boats down the river, using the lid of a box to help blow them along. Some of the boats sank and some made it to the end, either way we all had great fun!
