Today all of the Stars created their own Gingerbread Clay Decorations! They used their fine motor skills to manipulate the clay into a ball before rolling it out using a rolling pin, they then used the cookie cutter to cut out the shape, and used Peter Pointer to press buttons into the Gingerbread Man!

The children loved experimenting with water, adding small amounts to the clay to soften cracks and dry patches and even noticed when they hadn’t pressed the cutter hard enough and the Gingerbread Man wouldn’t separate.

All children participated in this activity although not all are photographed and the Gingerbread Decorations will be sent home next week.
