Today, the Blazes used hula hoops to practise teamwork and problem-solving.
In the first challenge, they worked in pairs to pass one hula hoop over a friend and onto the next person using a string. It took a bit of practice and a lot of communication to figure out the easiest way to do it.
In the second challenge, they again partnered up, this time needing to get a hula hoop over a friend while they were holding hands.
After a little while of playing the blazes then asked if there was any more challenges for them to do, Beth gave them the challenge of them trying to make their own challenge, they quickly got in a line and worked together to get the hoop from the front of the line to the back.
Teamwork and problem-solving in pre-school are crucial aspects of everyone's learning. Engaging in these activities helps develop social skills, encourages active listening, and fosters the building of friendships.
The Blazes performed exceptionally well in these activities, making sure to listen to their partners in order to find the quickest and most efficient methods. We all had a brilliant time working together asa team!
