The Horses had a fantastic time during ice cream role play in the garden. They chose different colours of ice cream made from shaving foam and decided on various colourful sprinkles to decorate their creations. The children experimented with pretend ice cream resources alongside real ice cream cones, which added to their enjoyment. We also introduced pretend money into the role play, and they loved exploring the different amounts and how they looked. Engaging in this ice cream shop scenario allowed the children to practise social skills and stimulate their imagination while making stories and creating their delicious ice creams.
