Ice Exploration

Yesterday the Blazes really enjoyed playing with some ice in the garden after some water had frozen in the garden. Following on from this, we decided to do some ice exploring in our large tuff tray this morning! The children used some small wooden hammers to help them break through the ice and rescue the animals that were trapped. We learned about ice melting back into water when it gets warm and so the children also tried using their hands and breath to melt the ice! In the end our rescue mission was a success and we freed all the animals from the ice. Well done Blazes!
