Today the Pre-school had a visit from a lovely police officer called Julie that came to talk about her job. She spoke with the children about street safety and what to do if they were ever in a bad situation, for example crossing the street safely, stranger danger, what number to call when in danger and who to ask for. She asked the children if they knew their mummies and daddies full names and street they live on incase they get lost and need to tell someone. After this, everyone had the opportunity to try on a police hat and then go outside to have a close look at the police car. As the horses and ponies sat in the police car we had discussions about all of the technology in there and things people can get arrested for. The horses and ponies really loved this experience and said a massive thank you to Julie as she left. Thank you Julie!
