Today the ponies made their own banana bread. We noticed that some of our bananas had gone a little brown and knew we wouldn’t be able to eat them on their own, so we put our heads together and had a think about what we could do to stop them going to waste. We decided to make our own banana bread to use what we had and stop the bananas getting wasted.

They peeled the bananas and mashed them up, adding all of the ingredients (flour, sugar, butter and milk) based off of the recipe. They used their fine motor skills to mix and transfer the batter to the bread maker and excitedly kept an eye on the loaf as it cooked.

Then they enjoyed the best part- eating! Well done Ponies! 🍞 🍌
