To celebrate national writing day, the Butterflies took part in large scale mark making! The butterflies explored and developed their pen grip by using the pens to create colourful marks across the paper! While using palmer and tripod grips, the Butterflies excelled in drawing lines and circles using fluent movements. This activity will help support the children as they begins to write for a purpose as lines and circles will help them with the formation of letters. The butterflies absolutely loved this activity and spent lots of time making marks!
