This week, the Blaze class has developed a keen interest in spiders after discovering some in the garden. We have been busy learning all about these fascinating creatures.

Did you know there are 43,000 types of spiders?

We have been creating our own spider playdough, counting the legs as we added them. We also used real-life photographs of spiders for reference.

After that, we explored the classroom and the garden in search of spider webs and managed to find one. It was so interesting to observe the different patterns in the web.

Finally, we continued our exploration on the iPads, discovering the various species of spiders and how different they look from one another.
