Today the star’s went on a trip to pets at home. As we have been discussing different modes of transport recently we decided to get the train there and take a bus ride home. The star’s listened very carefully and followed our instructions about road safety and how to use buses and trains carefully and with caution. They had lots of fun during their travels and really enjoyed looking at their surroundings.

At Pre-School we have recently had lots of conversions about different types of animals and what pets we all have at home. To bring these conversations to life today we did a spontaneous trip to pets at home so the star’s could browse all the different animals they had. The had the chance to look at rabbits, gerbils, guinea pigs, rats, Hamsters and fish! The star’s observed them closely and each came up with names for their favourite ones from the bunch. Finally we looked at the fish which was a collective favourite of them all. The star’s where very satisfied and asked if we could buy one to bring back to pre school
