International literacy day (1)
For World literacy Day the children enjoyed a lots of fun mark making activities such as writing on the light up boards, making marks on the white boards and making marks on paper using pens and painting sticks.
Getting ready for writing is about experimenting to make marks while using lots of different tools, such as pens brushes and crayons. Before letters start there will be lines and dots and then going into shapes such as a circle.
