Colour Matching 🎨
This week, the children in the Toddler Room had lots of fun exploring colours through a simple colour-matching activity. They chose different coloured objects and matched them to the same coloured paper.
The activity supported the children’s EYFS learning in Mathematics as they explored matching, sorting and noticing similarities between colours. It also encouraged their Communication and Language skills as they listened to instructions, talked about the colours they could see and shared their ideas with us.
It was lovely to see the children getting involved, making choices and proudly finding the colours that matched! 🌈
